NFL Divisional Round Weekend Recap and Conference Championship Game Picks

NEW YORK, NY. (Fish Sports) - With the Divisional Round of the 2020-21 NFL Playoffs complete, we recap each matchup, along with analyzing our picks we made last week for these games. We also look forward to the Conference Championship games and give our game picks for them.  Unlike last week, home teams had a positive record at 3 and 1 this week. The only home team who lost this week was the New Orleans Saints.      - We start in the AFC,  The first matchup was between the 5 seed Baltimore Ravens and the 2 seed Buffalo Bills. The Bills were victorious, winning 17 to 3. Buffalo is 12 and 3 in home playoff games in their team history. Ravens Quarterback Lamar Jackson left the game in the 4th quarter due to a concussion. The top performers of the game showcased Buffalo's QB Josh Allen who went 23 for 37 with 206 passing yards with a touchdown on the day. January 17th, 2021 NHL Recap

NEW YORK, NY. (Fish Sports) - January 17th, 2021, was another great day for hockey, marking the return of Sunday Afternoon hockey. We had two entertaining games today with a shoot-out thrown into the mix. The Dallas Stars have been unable to play their first game of the season so far due to COVID-19 issues.  To start, we head out to Sunrise, Florida where the Chicago Blackhawks took on the Florida Panthers. The Panthers win their season opener 5 to 2. Chicago falls to 0 and 3 to start the season, allowing 5 goals in each of their first 3 games. They currently sit with a -10 point differential to start the year. Chicago's Alex DeBrincat had a goal on the day, along with Chicago Defenseman, Connor Murphy scoring one. Florida had five different scorers in the game, with Defenseman Keith Yandle scoring a goal. 26-year-old Panthers goalie, Chris Driedger made 24 saves with 26 shots against. January 15th, 2021 NHL Recap

NEW YORK, NY. (Fish Sports) - January 15th, 2021, marked the third night of the 2021 NHL season. We have seen some great games so far, tonight though, we saw another hat-trick and one of the highest-scoring games in the last few seasons.  We go to Ottawa, Canada to start the night where the Toronto Maple Leafs faced the Ottawa Senators. Rookie Tim Stutzle made his NHL debut and registered a shot on net. The Senators took this matchup, winning 5 to 3 over Toronto. The 3rd star of the game went to John Tavares of the Maple Leafs who had a goal and an assist. The 2nd star of the game went to Ottawa's Thomas Chabot, who had a goal and a +4 on his line. The 1st star of the game went to Ottawa's Brady Tkachuk who had a goal, 2 assists, and a +3 in the win.  Heading out to Tampa Bay, they start the season off strong scoring 10 total goals in their first two games of the season over the Chicago Blackhawks. January 14th, 2021 NHL Recap

NEW YORK, NY. (Fish Sports) - January 14th, 2021, marked the second night of the 2021 NHL season. On the ballot tonight, were 10 games. The eleventh game was between the Dallas Stars and Florida Panthers but was postponed due to multiple Star s personnel testing positive for COVID-19.  First up, was the Minnesota Wild visiting the Los Angeles Kings. The Wild won the game in overtime with the final score being 4 to 3. Minnesota received 2 points for the win, while the Kings received 1. LA's Dustin Brown was the game's 3rd star with a goal on the day, Minnesota's Jonas Brodin was the 2nd star with a goal, and Minnesota's Kirill Kaprizov was the game's 1st star with 1 goal, the game-winning goal in overtime, and 2 assists.   The Anaheim Ducks visited the Vegas Golden Knights. Vegas won the game with a commanding 5 to 2 win. The 2021 NHL Season is Officially Underway!

NEW YORK, NY. (Fish Sports) - Today, January 13th, 2021, marked the start of the 2021 National Hockey League season. The NHL season typically starts in October, but with Covid-19 present, and the 2020 Stanley Cup Playoffs finishing up late, the league decided to have a shortened season rather than neglecting the season completely.  The first matchup of the season began in Philadelphia, where the Pittsburgh Penguins faced-off with the Philadelphia Flyers in the new, re-designed MassMutual East Division. The Flyers played strong throughout, scoring three goals in the Third Period to win the game 6 to 3 over the Pens.  We then travel to Toronto, Canada where the Montreal Canadiens visited the Toronto Maple Leafs in the new, all-Canadian Scotia North Division. The Maple Leafs took the game in overtime, winning 5 to 4. NFL Super Wild Card Weekend Recap and Divisional Round Game Picks

NEW YORK, NY. (Fish Sports) - With the first round of the 2020-21 NFL Playoffs complete, we recap each matchup, along with analyzing our picks we made last week for these games.  The teams that had the home-field advantage this weekend went 2 and 6. With both the Bills and Saints winning at home.      -  Starting in the AFC,  In the first matchup of the weekend, we had the 7 seed Indianapolis Colts at the 2 seed Buffalo Bills. The Bills were victorious, winning 27 to 24. Buffalo picked up their first playoff win since 1995. Quarterback Josh Allen went 26 for 35 with 324 passing yards and two passing touchdowns. Allen also led his team in rushing with 11 carries and 54 yards, along with a rushing touchdown. Gold Medal Game - 2021 World Junior Championship

EDMONTON - RED DEER, AB. (Fish Sports) - The 2021 hockey World Junior Championship (IIHF) came to a finish last night. With both the Bronze Medal game and Gold Medal game, came amazing hockey from each countries' rising stars. The United States of America ultimately became victorious in the tournament. USA, USA, USA! In this article, we recap the matchup between Canada πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦ and the United States πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ in last night's Gold Medal game.  The United States beat Canada 2-0 in a close, winner takes all, Championship game. The United States gave Canada a true test in this matchup and played them all the way to the end of the game.  Canada had the 1st ranked scoring efficiency in the tournament and the 4th ranked penalty kill.  The United States had the 2nd ranked scoring efficiency in the tournament with the 3rd ranked penalty kill. Bronze Medal Game - 2021 World Junior Championship

EDMONTON - RED DEER, AB. (Fish Sports) - The 2021 hockey World Junior Championship (IIHF) came to a conclusion last night. With both the Bronze Medal game and Gold Medal game, came amazing hockey from each country involved.  In this article, we examine the Bronze Medal game, Finland versus Russia.  The country of Finland came out victorious over the country of Russia, 4-1. Finland dominated late, having scored 3 goals in the 3rd Period to ensure victory.  Russia had the 5th ranked scoring efficiency in the tournament but the 1st ranked penalty kill.  Finland on the other hand had the 4th ranked scoring efficiency and the 2nd ranked penalty kill.   Scoring:  Russia scored the first goal, and their only goal of the game, at 06:03 in the 1st Period. 2020 NFL Wild Card Matchups

NEW YORK, NY. (Fish Sports) - With the final NFL playoff spots set, there are some intriguing matchups as each team has Super Bowl hopes.  Today, we analyze each matchup with key statistics and pick the teams we think will advance to the Divisional Round.  First off, the two #1 Seeds. The AFC’s #1 Seed belongs to the Kansas City Chiefs, who are averaging 29.6 Points Per Game (PPG) which is 6th in the NFL this season. They were 2nd in PPG last year with 29.9. The Chiefs also finished 14-2 for the first time in team history.                 In the NFC, the #1 Seed belongs to the Green Bay Packers, who are averaging 31.8 PPG, 1st in the NFL through Week 17, up from 23.6 in 2019, which was 14th in the NFL. Green Bay with a large spike in scoring this year, adding to their chances to compete for the Super Bowl this year.
